What Is VCI Cardboard and How Does It Work?
VCI cardboard works through vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors that create an invisible molecular layer on metal surfaces. The VCI vapor released from the laminated layers reacts with the metal, preventing oxidation.
As a result, metal parts remain protected against humidity, temperature changes, and atmospheric conditions during storage or transportation.
